The Intravee now has preliminary support for HD radio via the Alpine TUA-T500HD tuner unit.

The tuner has AiNet passthrough, so you can add it to your existing Intravee based system without needing to buy an additional switch (although it will also work in systems that contain an AiNet switch).
One notable point is that the Intravee supports 'Multicast' stations right now.
If any non Intravee customers would like an Intravee and HD tuner, please email sales.
Existing Intravee customers can discuss this on the support forum where you will find details of what firmware you will need to load on your Intravee in order to enable HD support.

iPod support has recently been enhanced with many new features including searching by playlist, artist, album, song.? New screen layouts have been employed in order to maximise text display capabilities.

The above screen shot shows the playlist navigation screen. Playlist 17 of 35 is being viewed and is called 'My Favorite Driving Songs'.
The currently playing track is 'Don't Stop Me Now' by Queen, as can be seen in the top part of the display. (Screen shot taken from v3.45 beta firmware - features subject to change).

The Intravee now has preliminary support for Apple iPod!
Featuring full screen display on BMW Nav screens, of track titles and ID3 text, and multiple feature rich menus controlling all aspects of iPod playback. Single line displays such as E46 business RDS radio will also be supported.
Example of iPod & Intravee on 16:9 Nav screen :

Full support for simultaneous connection of an Apple iPod (via an Alpine KCA-420i) and a standard Alpine CD changer or Alpine MP3 CD changer (via an Alpine KCA-410c) is currently being worked on.
Users will be able to connect both iPod and changer at the same time and use the BMW factory fitted head unit's controls to select which source to listen to.
We hope to add support in the future to allow users to control other Alpine Ai-Net based products using the BMW factory head unit, such as amplifiers and equalisers.
