Spam from Forum?

Anyone else been sent a spam email from a newly registered user? LawrenceMcconnel?

Trying to send me to a no doubt dodgy online link.

Certainly needs to be looked into, please mods.

All forum members have been sent a notification not to click on the link in that PM sent by LawrenceMcconnel and the account has been banned.

This is the first instance of spam PM's we've had which is why we require activation of everyone's account, in this case the bogus user has slipped through.

We have tightened up the PM restrictions which should severely limit the number of spam e-mails that can be sent should another spammer slip through, apologies if this impacts on anyone sending PM's but we're sure you'll agree that spam PM's are not wanted.
